This Privacy Policy explains how shootQ8 collects, uses, stores, and deletes information when you use the mobile app on iOS or Android.

Information We Collect
- Account information, including first name, last name, email address, phone number, age, height, and weight.
- Authentication information handled by Firebase Authentication, such as account sign-in and password reset activity.
- Profile choices, including play positions, available times, preferred stadiums, and selected match formats.
- Optional profile photo information if you choose to upload a photo.
- Match registration information, including selected match, selected team, selected position, and match timing locks.
How We Use Information
- To create and authenticate your account.
- To show matches that match your profile preferences.
- To register or unregister you from available matches.
- To show team rosters and match details to signed-in users.
- To support account deletion, password reset, and app support.
Profile and Match Visibility
When you register for a match, signed-in users may see your display name, selected team, selected position, age, height, weight, and profile photo inside match details. Your phone number and email address are not shown in the match details player card.
Profile Photos
Profile photos are optional. If you upload a profile photo, it is stored in Firebase Storage and used for your profile and match details preview. Signed-in users can view profile photos used in match contexts. Only the account owner can upload, update, or delete their own profile photo.
Third-Party Services
The app uses Firebase services provided by Google, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage, and Firebase Hosting for support and policy pages. These services process app data to provide authentication, database storage, file storage, and hosting.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only as needed to operate the app, provide Firebase-backed app services, show match participation details to signed-in users, comply with legal requirements, or protect the app and its users.
Data Retention and Deletion
Account and profile information is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account from the Settings page in the app. Account deletion removes your Firebase Auth account, user profile document, profile photo, registered email marker, and match registration artifacts linked to the account where possible. You can also contact support if you cannot access your account.
Security
The app uses Firebase Authentication, Firestore rules, and Storage rules to protect user data. No security system is perfect, but access is limited based on sign-in state, account ownership, and admin-only permissions where appropriate.
Children
The app is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact support so the account can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when app features, data handling, or store requirements change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
